Why outrigger paddling?

If paddlers in an OC6 (six person outrigger canoe) don't work together as one, they will quickly find themselves going nowhere - fast.

Blending together is key, communication is crucial, and putting egos aside a necessity. One person alone cannot paddle an OC6 effectively.

When it all comes together, the boat simply hums. It feels effortless.

How can I arrange a team building event for my organisation?

Mooloolaba Outrigger Canoe Club is heavily involved in the annual Row for Cancer event on the Sunshine Coast.

However, we are also available at other times of the year.
